Surgical Referrals

Veterinary Surgeon James Wood holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and is experienced in many orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries.

James and the team now accept referrals from other practices across Leeds and the rest of Yorkshire for a range of operations including cranial cruciate ligament surgery, fracture repair and brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS).

We pride ourselves on our friendly, approachable and personal service whilst also offering the highest quality of first-opinion care for your pets. All our surgical referrals therefore include an admit appointment, discharge appointment and all post-operative appointments with James. This ensures you can talk directly with the surgeon who will be operating on your pet and James can discuss the procedure in depth and any concerns you might understandably have.
